Hiking and Picnic Day 22 March

A gentle bird watching walk and picnic for ND adults who like nature, fresh air and side-by-side company. Walk at a relaxed pace, take breaks when you need, and then settle in for a low-pressure picnic where you can chat, stim, snack or simply soak up the scenery.

What to expect

  • A relaxed, guided walk with plenty of rest stops and no fitness pressure.

  • Picnic time afterwards – bring your own food, or share if you’re comfy.

  • Quiet spots to decompress, use headphones or just watch the world go by.

Dungeons & Dragons Follow Up Quest 12 April

Beginner-Friendly + Supported by Local Game Masters

Come for the story, stay for the connection. This is a low-pressure, ND-friendly Dungeons & Dragons session where you can join in at your pace — with experienced Game Masters there to guide the game, explain as we go, and make sure everyone feels included.

What to expect

  • A friendly Dungeon Master to narrate the story, explain the rules and guide you step by step.

  • All materials provided – character sheets, pens and sets of polyhedral dice (d4–d20).

  • Optional participation — observing is welcome

  • Breaks are always okay

  • A “come as you are” room culture

Movie & Pizza Afternoon 19 April

A chill movie afternoon with pizza, soft drinks and no pressure to talk. Sit in the dark, share a story on screen, and connect as much (or as little) as feels right. Perfect for those who like shared experiences without intense social demand.

What to expect

  • One movie (ND-friendly choice, to be announced).

  • Pizza and soft drinks, including some GF/veg options.

  • You can wear headphones, bring fidgets or sit on the aisle if that helps.

  • Come solo or with a support person – no forced small talk.

Craft Workshop 21 June

A hands-on, sensory-friendly craft session for ND adults who like making things with their hands. Come and create at your own pace – no “talent” required, just curiosity. You can chat, stay quiet, or listen to the room buzz while you make.

What to expect

  • Guided craft activity + free-play materials (e.g. collage, simple painting, beading).

  • All materials supplied; you’re welcome to bring your own project too.

  • Tables set up for quieter focus and gentle group chat.

  • ND-affirming space: stimming, breaks and headphones all welcome.

Music Hangz 19 July

A relaxed music-room style hang for ND adults – think instruments, low-key jams, and a comfy corner if you just want to listen. No performance, no stage, no pressure to be “good” – just shared sound and gentle connection.

What to expect

  • A room set up with basic instruments (keys, percussion, maybe guitar) to gently explore.

  • Space for people who want to bring their own instruments or just listen.

  • Clear cues about volume levels and a quieter zone available.

  • Come and go between the music space and chill/quiet areas as needed.
